Position: Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lodge products, services, events, and tariffs.
  • Develop, expand, and maintain the client portfolio and database.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
  • Conduct client surveys to understand demographics, pricing preferences, and market opportunities.
  • Make sales calls and visits to both prospective and existing clients.
  • Prepare and present customized itineraries that align with guests’ budgets.
  • Identify and apply for hospitality-related tenders.
  • Pursue networking and partnership opportunities within the industry.
  • Represent the lodge at trade fairs, exhibitions, promotions, and other events.
  • Monitor hospitality market trends and recommend effective sales strategies.
  • Manage social media campaigns and promotions to increase occupancy.
  • Create engaging blog and digital content.
  • Interact with guests, gather feedback, and ensure prompt resolution of concerns.
  • Coordinate confirmed bookings and event orders with lodge staff.
  • Monitor competitor activities, online reviews, and ratings.
  • Track occupancy forecasts and prepare regular sales reports.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry or with a travel agency is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in field sales within hospitality and an established local or regional network.
  • Demonstrated success in revenue generation and meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Sound understanding of the outdoor hospitality industry and its markets.
