Morris Ogeta, the longtime security aide to opposition leader Raila Odinga, is set to channel his extensive experience into a professional VIP protection and training enterprise. Former Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has advised Ogeta against taking individual bodyguard roles for junior politicians, emphasizing that his skills and stature are best applied to a larger, structured venture.

Speaking at Ogeta’s residence in Uyoma, Siaya County, Kuria noted that Ogeta’s years of service to Raila Odinga provided him with unique exposure and expertise in high-level security management – expertise that is ideally suited for institutional application. “Morris’s experience is rare and should not be confined to guarding individual leaders,” Kuria said, highlighting the importance of leveraging his skills for broader impact.

Kuria revealed plans to support Ogeta in establishing a VIP protection and training company.
