PepsiCo has named Tanvi Swami as the new Marketing Director for its flagship beverage brands—Pepsi, 7UP and Mirinda—in India, reinforcing its leadership team as competition in the soft drinks market continues to grow.
Swami joins PepsiCo from Pernod Ricard, where she served as Marketing Director, overseeing premium spirits brands such as Chivas Regal and Glenlivet. She brings more than 13 years of experience spanning the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), food and beverage industries.
Before her stint at Pernod Ricard, Swami spent over seven years at Kellogg’s, holding several leadership positions in India and international markets. During her tenure, she led the Chocos brand before taking on a regional role focused on brand strategy and innovation across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.
She began her professional career in sales at Britannia Industries before transitioning into brand management, building extensive expertise in marketing and consumer engagement.
In her new role, Swami will spearhead marketing initiatives for Pepsi, 7UP and Mirinda in India as PepsiCo seeks to strengthen its beverage portfolio and expand its market presence amid increasing competition.
