Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of 2–4 Sales Representatives
- Conduct sales huddles, pipeline reviews, and field coaching
- Drive accountability through incentives and performance plans
New Business Development
- Acquire new B2B and B2C clients, targeting high-volume shippers
- Lead negotiations for key corporate accounts
- Develop territory strategies across Nairobi and its environs
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor industry trends, competitors, and pricing models
- Share insights with operations and pricing teams
Pricing & Commercial Strategy
- Develop competitive, customized proposals
- Ensure profitable pricing using cost analysis (fuel, zones, weight)
Customer Experience & Retention
- Maintain high service standards post-sale
- Handle escalations and ensure quick issue resolution
Key Requirements
- 4–6 years’ experience in logistics/courier/freight sales (Kenya)
- At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong track record in business acquisition and closing deals
- Solid understanding of logistics pricing models
