March 2026 presents high-value funding opportunities for young African innovators. The AFRISE Challenge invites entrepreneurs aged 18–35 to scale impactful ventures across healthcare, agriculture, energy, education, fintech, and other key sectors.
The program supports youth-led startups from Nigeria, Uganda, Morocco, Kenya, Rwanda, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, and Senegal. Selected participants receive mentorship, leadership training, and access to grant and equity funding, culminating in an International Demo Day. In addition, startups benefit from over $600,000 in technology credits from partners including AWS, Zoho, IBM, Microsoft, Canva, DigitalOcean, and FreshWorks.
Focus Areas
The AFRISE Challenge supports solutions in financial services, healthcare, agriculture, renewable energy, education technology, environmental sustainability, telecommunications, and the creative industries.
What Participants Receive
Entrepreneurs gain structured mentorship from experienced founders, investors, and industry leaders. The accelerator program helps refine business models, strengthen product-market fit, and develop scalable growth strategies. Peer networking, expert-led workshops, and access to international support networks form a core part of the experience.
The top 15 innovators advance to the International Demo Day, where they pitch to early-stage investors and entrepreneurship support organizations for potential grant and equity funding.
