Mary’s Meals International Seeks Global Head of Programme Quality Assurance

Mary’s Meals International (MMI) has opened an opportunity for an experienced and purpose-driven professional to join its global leadership team as Head of Programme Quality Assurance. This senior position offers a chance to play a pivotal role in strengthening programme standards across one of the world’s largest school feeding initiatives, supporting millions of children to receive nutritious meals while in school.

The role reports to the Director of Programme Operations and provides overall leadership of MMI’s global Quality Assurance function. It is fully remote, though it requires regular international travel to countries where Mary’s Meals programmes are implemented.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for setting and advancing the organisation’s global quality assurance vision, ensuring high standards, consistency, and accountability across all programmes and logistics operations. The position blends strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight, guiding a global QA team while working closely with programme affiliates, partners, and internal departments. A strong focus will be placed on data-driven learning, continuous improvement, and alignment with the Mary’s Meals Delivery Model.

Key duties include leading the development and implementation of QA strategies, strengthening monitoring and assessment systems, advising senior leadership on programme quality and risk, and ensuring global standards are effectively adapted to local contexts. The role also involves representing MMI in external partnerships and sector forums to promote shared learning and best practice.

MMI is seeking a collaborative and values-led leader with significant experience in quality assurance, programme management, or performance improvement within complex, multi-country environments. Strong analytical skills, proven team leadership, and the ability to work across cultures are essential.
