Why Global Education Investment Matters More Than Ever
Current projections show that by 2030, only about one out of every six countries is on track to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4)—universal access to quality education. For low- and lower-middle-income nations, the challenge is even steeper, with an estimated US$97 billion in annual funding shortfalls needed to meet education benchmarks.
As developing economies struggle with widening SDG financing gaps, the need to nurture skilled, ethical, and forward-thinking leaders has become critical. Expanding access to advanced education is one of the most effective ways to equip future changemakers to drive inclusive and sustainable development.
