Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarship 2026: Fully Funded Master’s Opportunity

The Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarship (QECS) is inviting applications from eligible students across Commonwealth countries ahead of the January 14, 2026 deadline, offering a rare opportunity to pursue a fully funded Master’s degree abroad.

Administered by the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), the QECS programme enables students to study at universities located in low- and middle-income Commonwealth nations, promoting academic excellence while strengthening cross-cultural understanding and cooperation among member states.

Successful applicants are awarded funding for a two-year, full-time Master’s programme, with the scholarship covering all major costs. Beneficiaries receive full tuition fees, a monthly living stipend to meet everyday expenses, a one-off arrival allowance, and return economy-class airfare to and from the host country. Depending on the course and institution, additional research support funding may also be provided. This all-inclusive package ensures scholars can focus fully on their studies without financial strain.

Part-time, distance-learning, or programmes undertaken in the applicant’s country of citizenship are not eligible.
