Over a thousand youth leaders, innovators, policymakers, and development partners from across Africa and beyond are expected to convene for the 6th African Youth Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Summit. Organized by Youth Advocates Ghana, the event provides a dynamic platform for dialogue, collaboration, and action toward advancing the United Nations SDGs.
The 2026 edition introduces a hybrid model, combining virtual participation with a limited in-person experience in Accra. This ensures accessibility for youth across the continent while maintaining the benefits of face-to-face networking and engagement.
Attendees can look forward to:
- Plenary sessions featuring development experts
- Interactive workshops and thematic dialogues
- Policy discussions and networking forums
- Showcases of innovative youth-led solutions
- Opportunities for cross-sector collaboration
The summit is designed to connect young changemakers with influential stakeholders, fostering partnerships that accelerate SDG implementation.
Participation Options
- Virtual Participation – Offers remote access to live sessions, digital networking, and online discussions, enabling inclusion for youth unable to travel.
- In-Person Participation (Accra, Ghana) – Limited slots provide direct engagement with speakers, exclusive side events, and on-site collaboration opportunities. Early registration is encouraged due to venue capacity.
Registration
- International delegates: Early $200 (by April 15), Standard $300
- Ghana-based delegates: Early GHC 300, Standard GHC 500
Fees cover summit sessions, meals, and official materials, but not travel or accommodation. Group registrations and inquiries can be directed to info@youthsdgssummit.org.
The summit welcomes youth leaders, social entrepreneurs, academics, policy influencers, and private sector actors committed to sustainable development. Participants gain opportunities to strengthen advocacy skills, exchange innovative ideas, and amplify youth voices in shaping Africa’s development agenda.
By fostering youth-led dialogue and collaboration, the 2026 African Youth SDGs Summit positions young people not just as beneficiaries, but as drivers of sustainable transformation across the continent.
