The Equal Community Foundation (ECF) is a registered nonprofit organisation founded in 2009 with a clear mission: to raise every boy in India to be gender equitable. Through its evidence-based programmes, ECF empowers adolescents and young people to understand that gender equality is everyone’s responsibility, helping to build more inclusive and equitable communities.
ECF is now hosting a 16-hour virtual capacity-building workshop focused on Gender and Human Rights.
What Will You Explore?
This engaging and reflective workshop will examine critical themes including:
- Human rights and gender equality
- Adolescent changes and evolving identities
- Understanding masculinities
- Violence and sexual violence
- Building healthy relationships
Participants will develop awareness, empathy, and practical skills to make informed decisions and promote positive behaviour change within their communities.
Workshop Structure
- Duration: 16 hours
- Schedule: Conducted over two weeks
- Frequency: 4 sessions per week
- Session Length: 2 hours each
- Mode: Virtual (via Zoom)
- Language: English
Certification
Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive a Certificate of Completion. An official letter confirming participation can also be provided upon request.
