Job Overview

Equity Bank Kenya is seeking an experienced professional to lead its Business Banking portfolio in the North Eastern Region, based in Eastleigh. The role is responsible for driving regional business growth, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering strategic objectives aligned with the Bank’s broader vision. As part of the leadership team, the successful candidate will guide business development initiatives, ensure profitability, manage risk, and inspire high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive regional business growth through effective planning, budgeting, and execution
• Grow and manage a high-quality customer portfolio while safeguarding asset quality
• Strengthen market presence through partnerships, branding, and customer engagement
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and risk management requirements
• Lead, mentor, and develop teams to achieve performance targets
• Monitor performance, analyze market trends, and provide timely management reports

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years’ banking experience, including at least 4 years in business or commercial banking
