About the Fellowship
The Kofi Annan Fellowship in Global Health Leadership seeks to fill this critical leadership gap. It provides 25 fully-funded fellowships for senior health professionals committed to driving digital health innovation across Africa. Fellows will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to manage cross-border data exchange, including systems for unique patient identification, national registries for healthcare professionals, and national data gateway implementation.

Cohort Focus
Cohort 6 will prioritize expertise in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Public Mental Health, alongside senior professionals from government ministries and National Public Health Institutes.

Program Benefits
All costs for fellowship participants are covered by Africa CDC, including travel, daily allowances, insurance, and learning materials. Since its inception, the program has graduated 84 fellows from 34 African countries, many of whom now lead transformative health initiatives, author influential publications, forge cross-border partnerships, and even serve in ministerial positions.
