Millions of children living in crisis zones are denied the stability, safety, and opportunities that education provides. Education Cannot Wait (ECW), the UN’s global fund for education in emergencies, is changing this reality. For 2026, ECW is offering Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) internships, giving aspiring professionals the chance to work at the intersection of humanitarian action, data, and global education.

  • Draft sections on strategic objectives and education outcomes

Supporting Learning & Knowledge Sharing

  • Conduct research, literature reviews, and mapping exercises
  • Design interviews, focus groups, and learning exchanges
  • Produce learning briefs, blogs, presentations, and other materials

Strengthening ECW’s Data & Information Systems

  • Manage databases and tracking tools

  • Ensure alignment with M&E processes and data standards

Interns may also lead a mid-term independent project aligned with ECW’s mission.
