Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or an equivalent qualification
• Active practicing license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council
• Valid annual practicing certificate
• At least five (5) years of hands-on clinical practice
• Minimum two (2) years serving in a senior or supervisory clinical capacity

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Examine patients, establish diagnoses, and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Carry out restorative treatments and minor to moderate dental surgical procedures
• Offer preventive dental care and promote oral health awareness
• Manage dental emergencies and provide effective pain relief solutions
• Provide aesthetic and cosmetic dental treatments
• Maintain accurate clinical records and oversee related administrative tasks
• Uphold exceptional standards of patient safety, hygiene, and quality care
• Guide and mentor junior clinicians and support staff
• Ensure adherence to professional, ethical, and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrate capability in handling complex cases and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Desirable:
Additional certification or specialized training in Endodontics or Orthodontics will be considered an added advantage.
